Sun, 24 February 2008 First Wave Radio #22b - The Tax Show
This show is dedicated to the Tax Man. We all pay taxes in some form or another. It's discouraging sometimes but I think of taxes as a measurement of your altruistic ways. How much do you support your government?? How much do you care about the roads, air, water and the poor?? For those of us that have universal Health Care, how much do you care about the health of others, citizens, permanent residents and refugees??? How about programs that enhance or maintain the culture and history of your country?? If only we could stop the tax man from misappropriating our money.
Bellyfull - The Gladiators
Journey - Black Uhuru
Peace in the Ghetto - Johnny Clarke
Nice and Easy - Willi Williams
Sons Of Slave - Lee Perry and Junior Delgado
Abendigo - The Abyssinians
The Good Lord - The Abyssinians
Great Stone - King Tubby and Soul Syndicate
Poor Man Stylist (because Poor People deserve to listen to music TOO)

Sun, 3 February 2008 First Wave Radio #19 - The Garden Show
There's no reason to call this show the Garden Show, other than showcasing a band from Germany. A very good and contemporary band called Seeed. First heard them a couple of years back and worked with German Ska legend Dr. Ring Ding. I also wanted to feature somewhat of a forgotten legend, in the form of Dr. Alimantado. The album is called "Best Dressed Chicken in Town" and in my mind a very solid album with all the elements you expect from a reggae artist. Peace.
Fire In The Morning - Seeed
Bad Company - Dr. Ring Ding & The Senior All Stars
Night Doctor - Aspo
Geneve - Court Jester's Crew
Fire Corner - King Stitt
Tek Dat - Hepcat
Poison Flour - Dr. Alimantado
Best Dressed Chicken in Town - Dr. Alimantado
Respectness Seeed
